Chicago C&D Waste Diversion & Compliance Reporting
As a certified Construction and Demolition (C&D) debris recycling facility, GreenWay helps contractors meet the requirements of Chicago's C&D Site Waste Recycling Ordinance. The ordinance mandates that covered projects recycle at least 50% of non-hazardous debris—including concrete, brick, wood, metals, and other construction materials—and submit compliance documentation to the Department of Public Health. GreenWay provides the waste tracking records and recycler affidavits needed to demonstrate compliance, simplifying the reporting process while helping divert valuable materials from landfills.
LEED Project Management
Introduced in 1999, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System helps building owners, developers, architects, engineers, and general contractors improve the quality of their buildings and their impact on the environment. GreenWay can assist with waste diversion reporting that is needed for LEED or the City of Chicago.
